Terms Of Service Terms Of Service

(A) Services
i. Remote Access
TechHero offers remote access service to assist in diagnosing and resolving system issues. This process allows a TechHero Technicians to remotely access your computer to determine the problem and either repair it or provide advice on what options are available to fix the issue. When using this service, you are giving permission to a TechHero Technician to log in to your computer which may contain personal information.

A TechHero Technician will only search your computer to determine the cause of the problem and will attempt to limit their interaction with your files to a minimum. It is your responsibility to ensure all of your files, especially those containing personal information, are secure to prevent any type of data loss or corruption.

ii. On-Site Service

Scheduling: Our standard service hours are 8:00am to 6:00pm Monday - Friday

Additional charges may apply for rapid response services or service outside of standard installation hours.

Service Jurisdiction: Tech Hero sets the Service Jurisdiction for each city and Technician. If a location lies beyond TechHero.s standard Service Jurisdiction, additional trip charges may apply.

An Adult Must Be Present at Residences or Business: For on-site services, a person of at least 18 years of age must be present during the entire time period services are provided. If a TechHero Technician arrives at the scheduled service time and no adult is present, services will be denied, and a cancellation charge of $50.00 will be assessed.
(B) Order Changes/Cancellations
You may cancel your order if you give TechHero at least 6 (six) hours notice prior to the scheduled performance of services. Cancellations must be completed by calling 1-800-900-TECH (1 800 900 8324) or the local scheduled Technician. The payment amount will be fully refunded in the manner the purchase was paid.

If you are not satisfied with your service: Please call 1-800-900-TECH (1-800-900-8324) for resolution. We stand behind our Services for 7 days. If there is a problem with the service we provided and you notify us within the stated time period, we will work to remedy your problem quickly and at no additional cost.


(C) User Responsibility
You understand and agree that prior to contacting or allowing TechHero to perform diagnostic repairs on your computer, it is your responsibility to back-up the data, software, information or other files stored on your computer disks and/or drives. You acknowledge and agree that TechHero shall not be responsible under any circumstance for any loss or corruption of data and/or software.


(D) Terms and Limitations
TechHero and/or its third party service providers reserve the right to refrain from providing any or all services ordered and instead refund the customer.s payment, wholly or in part, on the basis that the minimum system requirement have not been met or that the technical needs (including wiring or overcoming physical or technical barriers) or other requirements of the customer are unusual or extensive and beyond the scope of this Service Agreement as reasonably determined by TechHero and/or its third party service providers.

FORCE MAJEURE: If Tech Hero and/or its third party service providers. ability to render services is impaired by you or circumstances beyond the control of TechHero and/or its third party service providers, TechHero and/or its third party service providers may choose not to provide services.

(E) Limitation of Remedy
Under no circumstances shall TechHero and/or its third party service providers be liable to you or any other person for any damage, including without limitation, any indirect, incidental, or special or consequential damages, expenses, costs, profits, lost savings or earnings, lost or corrupted data, or other liability arising our of, or related to, the services provided by TechHero and/or its third party service provider or out of the installation, uninstallation, reinstallation, use of or inability to use your computer equipment, hardware, peripherals, or the network resulting from the services provided hereunder.

(F) Jurisdiction
The laws of the State of Florida will govern the TechHero Legal Notices without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.


Labor / Warranty / Refund Policy

Customer must have receipt to return components.

Payment Terms
a.) All special ordered equipment/parts shall be paid for in advance. System installations greater than $1000.00 require incremental payments. These payments shall be as follow: 50% of total project cost due at signing of agreement; 25% of total project cost due upon delivery and commencement of work; the balance to be paid in full upon completion and system operational verification

Full System & Parts Warranty
  1. Computer components have a one-year in-house warranty against manufacturer defect.
  2. Unless otherwise specified, OEM CPUs have a 30 day warranty against manufacture defect.
  3. Product warranties begin on the date of invoice
  4. Physical damage to components, accessories, and packaging void warranty
  5. Some components carry a longer warranty though the manufacturer
  6. No warranty on Software
  7. No warranty on software and/or hardware incompatibilities.
  8. Damage caused by viruses, power surges, and improper use of any component in the system voids all warranties.
  9. All parts returned as defective will be tested within 24 hours and then bad parts will be swapped or returned to the manufacturer for repair.
  10. We do not guarantee any upgrade capability on any motherboard.
Labor Warranty
  1. Upgrade & Repair Labor: 90-day warranty
  2. Full System Assembly Labor 1-year warranty.
  3. Bare Bones Assembly Labor: No labor warranty.
Product Returns
  1. No refunds after 10 days. After 10 days, only defective products will be replaced, not exchanged or returned for credit.
  2. A 20% restocking charge will apply to full system returns.
  3. A 10% restocking charge will apply to non-defective shrink-wrapped products that have been opened.
  4. No returns on physically damaged parts, accessories, and packaging.
  5. No returns on CPU's, software, books, or special order items.
  6. Purchases made by check will be credited after seven days or when the check has cleared our bank.
  7. Purchases made by credit card will be credited to the same credit card.
  8. Purchases made by cashed will be reimbursed in cash or store credit.
    • All returns must be accompanied by a receipt, be in its original packaging, and come with all documentation, drivers, and accessories.
    • The product must be returned in its original condition, free of damages or alterations that mar the product. Food & coffee stains on packaging, torn & written on manual pages, and smashed boxes all constitute damage.
    • If product being returned has been discontinued, we will return the merchandise to our suppliers for exchange. We will expedite returns to manufacturers but have no control over the manufacture's turn around time.
Full System Purchases
  1. Once an order is placed, Full System Purchases are considered FINAL ~ at which time, all standard return policies apply.
  2. Customer must pay at least one half of purchase price at the time a system is ordered.
  3. Due date for system will be determined at time of purchase
  4. Upon receipt of system customer will receive all original manuals and software.
  5. Tech Hero does not warranty software. Learning to use the software is the customer's responsibility.
  6. The labor warranty is void if the warranty seal is broken.
